End of Key Stage 2 data 2016

 

The table below shows the number of children in KS2 2016 who achieved the expected standard and above in reading, writing and maths.   

The table also shows the number of children who, since the end of Key Stage 1, have made average progress.  

 

One of our key areas for improvement last year was SPAG (spelling, punctuation and grammar).  Our results in this area are significantly higher than national data. 

We have also worked very hard to implement a mastery approach to teaching mathematics and children have been taught in smaller year groups in Key Stage 2.  We are proud of the outcomes for these children as they are significantly higher than national data.  Well done everyone!                                

 

Reading is our key area for improvement in 2016-17.  We have implemented many new strategies in school to improve future outcomes (please see our school improvement plan for more details).
